Noncontact optical measurement for small and delicate components
ZEISS O-DETECT is an optical measuring machine designed to capture and inspect component features without coming into contact with the surface. This measurement method makes it particularly well-suited for thin, delicate, small, or components that are sensitive to traditional probing.
The built-in panoramic camera makes it easier to locate and position the component, while the 5-megapixel camera and lens allow for high-resolution imaging. The various lighting options allow you to adapt the imaging process to the characteristics of the component and its surface.
The system processes the captured images and returns 2D and 3D dimensional data that can be used for component inspection and subsequent reporting.
Thanks to its non-contact optical technology, O-DETECT enables dimensional inspections of small-scale geometries and components that might be difficult to measure with contact-based systems, while maintaining a fast and non-invasive approach.
